Alistair and Stella Kinniburgh
Stella and Alistair are a committed couple who enjoy interacting with people and have a passion for creative photography.
Stella has a background in the Social Services and is a Registered Nurse, as well as being a professional Photographer. Her interests include painting and singing.
Stella specializes in Black & White Photography, and with her Artist's eye is quick to capture that special moment, or indeed create one. Stella also loves the medium of cross-processing for that "special effect".
Alistair has been photographing Weddings since he was 20 years old, and has seen a huge number of changes over the years.
"I'm enjoying breaking the old rules," he says. "What a lot of fun we have, producing something new and special for each of our couples."
Alistair first qualified as a Medical Photographer before taking up Commercial Photography. His interests includes flying (he has a private licence), computer manipulation, and music.
"I'm lucky to be able to combine my experience with the new technologies of digital photographic manipulation, and a drive to capture the essence of the couple, the family, the day."
Stella and Alistair work as a team, in a professional manner, that sees them unobtrusively and quickly accomplishing their task.
"We like to get to know our Bride and Groom to be, as much as possible before the Special Day," says Stella.
"It's all part of an enjoyable process, and makes the difference between good photography and the creative and artistic result we will ultimately achieve,"
Alistair says. "That's part of Stella's social and artistic skill, a unique combination that allows her to photograph and paint so well.
